Greetings Battlestar Fans. My name is Shawn <A.K.A Apollo>. This little section of the website is here to bring players and non-players alike up to speed on the current goings on with Battlestar Galactica.
2-17-7346 The Fleet has just moved into a new sector. Patrols were launched to survey the area around the fleet, within a 20 click range. Thus far we have encountered only two planets, a J Class <Jungle> and a B class <Barren Wasteland> planet. On first patrol with Cpt Apollo and LC Tech, they also discovered a small nebula, well over 40 clicks to the east of the fleet. In the center of that nebula, an asteroid field. Both pilots flew through the nebula several times, but discovered nothing but gases, as is most common with Nebula's. Upon return of the pilots, Cpt Apollo received word of a possible mission to one of these two planets. However information of this has been kept classified for security purposes.
2-19-7346 Today showed new interest from the Ready room of the warriors of the Galactica. Captain Apollo stood vigilant on a new patrol system. Still retaining the original factors of four Navpoints, the Captain has now asked for three Volunteers to join him on a patrol of a different idea. Captain Apollo did not speak directly about the upcoming change in patrol, but did mention that it, if approved by Core Command, would bring us a much clearer picture of what is around the fleet. Captain Apollo mentioned that if Core Command did in fact approve of the new system of patrols, that it would become mandatory for all pilots.
2-27-01 A mission to a remote Mountain class planet, comprised of 4 warriors and 1 civilian, Captain Apollo, Sergeant Tech, Private Thian, and Private Mezrein, as well as Croft, set out to destroy the Cylon Listening post detected by the fleet scanners. Upon first landing, the team met with little resistance. However once inside, cylons flooded the teams. All members fought back with viscous force. The team made it as far as the Cylon storage area unscathed. However once there, Private Thian fell to cylon fire, and Captain Apollo's hand was badly injured. Once the area was clear, the team made its way into the Computer room, were at once the team was again onslaughted by more Cylons. At this time Sergeant Tech was injured, his foot had been shot. The team hobbled onwards, their objectives clear. At the flight bay, after clearing all the cylons from the base, Captain Apollo found some sort of Data Crystal. Retrieving the crystal, they returned to set charges to destroy the listening post. Not having time to retrieve Thian's body, Captain Apollo lowered his head, only for a micron, to grieve the loss of one of his pilots... |
