History: One of the prisoners drafted for the commando mission to blow up the pulsar cannon on Mount Hekla ("The Gun on Ice Planet Zero"). Croft held the rank of Commander before the Holocaust, but during one mission he decided to take Cylon platinum bounty for himself and his team. But when confronted with Colonial Warriors (led by Adama), he surrendered rather than fire on his own kind and ended up on the Prison Barge. When the commando mission was successful, he was the only prisoner who survived. As part of the bargain, Adama set him free and restored him to full rank.
