History: A native of the Caprican city of Umbra (near the Thorn Forest), Starbuck was orphaned in a Cylon attack on Umbra in 7322...but his father survived and was aboard the Fleet (but he never knew it). Had a reputation as a "ladies' man" and a gambler; his favorite game was pyramid but while flying his Viper also took BIG RISKS which paid off! Athena and Cassiopeia constantly competed for his affections, but he admitted to both of them that he would find it very difficult to commit himself to one woman.
