While Battlestar MUSH is a cooperative roleplaying environment in which the mutual enjoyment of all parties is the goal, those players chosing to apply for or play a feature character need to be aware of the strictly controlled nature of features.

Another thing you have to realize about a 'feature': is that someone else may have played them before you got ahold of them. Any of the privious RP is considered IC, (I.E. it happened) UNLESS it is SPECIFICALY shown to be unIC, if that is the cause, that the Admin will retcon it, (This can not be done by the FC). So if you are informed that you know something ICly, you should check it out OOCly, and than RP as if you do, if you have a problem with that, just ask an Admin for a check on it.

Battlestar Mush: Features Application Exam

As a feature, you would be given a role which places you in the 'spotlight'. No longer can you simply dump your character and 'hide'. You have a responsibility to those who you RP with and the MUSH as a whole to do a good job. It is VERY important you are willing to put in some time on the feature and equally of importance to give some assurances you will stick with the character (A feature who dissapears after a short period in the role is only wasteing everyones time)
