Some of these questions can have very open ended answers. For example, rather than describing how someone stole your wallet once, and how you found out who did, what was in the wallet, and why, you can simply mention that it was stolen and you dont know why. Leaving things open like this gives the RPDs and administration a chance to involve your characters background in RP and TPs.

5. Describe your characters personality. To get a better sense of his personality, you might try things like describing his quarters, or how he might react to various situations.

6. Approximately a year ago, the cylons attacked the colonies, killing many people and destroying buildings. The time following the attack was a typical post-disaster period as families struggled to reunite and try to cope with their shattered lives. Your character, along with others, escaped on the fleet of ships protected by the Battlestar Galactica.
6a. Briefly describe your life on the colonies before the attack, and what changes the attack made to that life.

6b. Briefly describe your characters experience of the invasion of the colonies, what ship he left on, and why he was one of the colonists chosen to be evacuated.

(Note that the following two questions are things that the players can be encouraged to answer generally, and the RPDs could potentially link them to existing PCs to create conflict and RP, informing the player of the BG change).

7. Who are your friends? Where do you tend to spend time?

8. Do you have any enemies? These range from someone who wants to kill you to the guy whos just irritated by you. Why?

9. Briefly sum up your life over the past yahren. Remember that the fleet has been in chaos organizing things after the evacuation. Things have only recently settled down somewhat.

10. Did anything unusual happen to you while you were on the colonies? After the colonies were destroyed?

11. What is your characters relationship to his family like? Describe the personalities of the family members briefly.

12. Have you ever done anything illegal? If so, what?

13. Is your character single? Involved in a relationship? Married?
